Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of EEG on cerebral schistosomiasis. Methods: EEG data of 125 patients with schistosomiasis were analyzed, and their relationship with sex, age, course of disease, cerebrospinal fluid, clinical classification and prognosis were analyzed. Results: There were 94 cases of abnormal EEG in this group, which had no significant relationship with gender, intracranial pressure, leukocyte and protein in cerebrospinal fluid, prognosis, but with the course of disease, age distribution and clinical type. Conclusion: Electroencephalogram (EEG) is valuable for the diagnosis and clinical classification of cerebral schistosomiasis, and can monitor the treatment of this disease dynamically.
