Various steel studies have shown that: the organizational structure of steel wear will have a certain impact. In this paper, the effects of carbide dispersion, shape and defect degree on wear rate of Y8 steel were studied. The results show that the wear rate of steel decreases with the increase of the hardness of the sample, but has little to do with their microstructure (ie, heat treatment method).
