The birth of the most expensive Buddhist statues in the history not only brought the golden bronze statues of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the eyes of investors but also heralded the arrival of the second collection of Buddhist artworks. Buddhism has been introduced into the Central Plains since the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it has been more than 2,000 years old. The early Buddhist statues were mainly Buddhist statues of Han Buddhism. For example, Northern Qi Dynasty, Northern Wei Dynasty, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Song and Liao periods reached the climax of Chinese Buddhist statues, while Buddhist statues cast by Nanzhao, Tubo and Dali also had strong regional and cultural features.
