Quick-acting oculomotor sleep disorder is characterized by slow and slow recovery of skeletal muscle during fast-moving oculomotor sleep, and abnormal movements related to dreams. It is mainly related to pons and basal ganglia dysfunction. Numerous studies have found that behavioral disorders in idiopathic fast-moving eye sleep are likely to be the precursor of many neurodegenerative diseases. This has opened up new ideas for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and other diseases, and has become a hot research topic. With the progress of imaging technology, a variety of methods can realize the multi-angle imaging of the central nervous system, such as microstructure, metabolism, perfusion, neurotransmitter and receptors, and become an important means of studying the degenerative diseases of the nervous system. This review summarizes the research progress of central nervous system imaging of fast moving sleep disturbance.
