1991年10月～19日,在北京国家海洋环境预报中心,召开了1991年度海冰年会。这届年会总结了1990年～1991年海冰灾害情况;分析预报了1991～1992年冬季冰情趋势;交流了海冰监测、预报技术研究成果;成立了中国海洋学会海冰专业委员会。海冰专家预报分析,今冬明春渤海北部和黄海北部的冰情仍为常年冰情;渤海南部的冰情将为常年偏轻冰情。预报辽东湾的严重冰期将出现在1992年1月上旬末和2月下旬;渤海湾的严重冰期将出现在1992年1月下旬至2月上旬。辽东湾流冰范围为75～85 n mile,一般冰厚20～30cm,最大冰厚50cm;渤海湾流冰范围为15～25 n mile,一般冰厚为10～20cm,最大冰厚35cm。
From October 1991 to October 1919, the 1991 Annual Meeting of Sea Ice was held at Beijing National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center. The annual meeting summed up the sea ice disasters in 1990 ~ 1991; analyzed and forecast the winter ice conditions in 1991 ~ 1992; exchanged the results of the research on sea ice monitoring and forecasting technologies; established the sea ice professional committee of the Chinese Ocean Society. According to the prediction and analysis of sea ice experts, the ice conditions in northern Bohai Sea and northern Yellow Sea are still perennial ice conditions in the winter and spring of this year. The ice conditions in the southern Bohai Sea will be light in normal times. Severe glaciations that predict the Liaodong Bay will appear in late January and late February 1992; severe glaciations in the Bohai Bay will occur from late January 1992 to early February 1992. The range of ice flow in Liaodong Bay is 75-85 n mile, with ice thickness of 20-30 cm and maximum ice thickness of 50 cm. The flow area of ice in Bohai Bay is 15-25 n miles, and the ice thickness is generally 10-20 cm and the maximum ice thickness is 35 cm.
