低温电解渗硫是一种新的电化学热处理方法。这种方法的基本原理是把被处理的工件,置于硫氰酸盐浴中,以零件为阳极,以坩埚或辅助工具为阴极,在电场的作用下,使熔盐发生电解电离,并把S~--离子推向阳极,与工件已经离子化的Fe~++离子相结合,在工件的表面形成硫化物层。这种硫化物层疏松、内有微孔、质软、塑性好。有利于降低摩擦系数,有利于摩擦副的早期磨合,并能提高其抗拉毛、烧伤和咬合性能。
