Wuxi’s former Changzhou government is the only county in Changzhou that does not grow cotton. However, the production and trade of cotton cloth not only affects the south of Yangtze River, but also affects a wide area in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The “three wharfs” argument is that Hankou is a boat terminal, Zhenjiang is a money terminal, and Wuxi is a cloth terminal. The formation of Wuxibu terminal started in the Ming Dynasty and was celebrated during the Qing Emperor Qianlong period. According to Qianlong’s eighteen years (AD 1753), Wuxi’s people were yellow.卬 “Sikkim Ji Xiao Lu” contains: “Cheng Yu Yu’s hands and flourished in the Quartet, the most widely used cotton cloth.” It can be said that the cotton textile industry was the most prosperous handicraft industry in Wuxi at that time. There were almost every family in rural areas in Sixiang. Textile machines, households weaving cotton cloth. Wuxi is not the place of origin of cotton, why will flourish the cotton textile industry and the formation of cloth terminal it?
