我們在全國文化建設高潮的推動下和祁建華速成識字創造精神影響下,遵照毛主席的指示,「速成的、聯繫實際的但又是正規的」文化教育方針,根據幹部文化教育的任務和要求,在黨的直接領導下和王校長指示下,進行了教學改革。根據王校長的指示,我們首先精簡了教材。在不違反算術教學整個體系的原則下,把可講可不講的部分不講,把非講不可的部分精講,掌握了重點,我們的教學能夠速成,是掌握了算術由低到高、由淺到深、由具體到抽象的原則,在教法上則是系統的、聯繫實際的,由熟的講生的,由熟悉的講不熟悉的,針對學員的特點,吸取了本校前段典型試驗的經驗,以初中算術課本為藍本,我們嚴密的編組了教材,配當了時間,決定用66個早晨計132個小時完成算術速成教學,結果以48個早晨計96個小時勝利的提前完成了五個班的全部算術速成教學,三次測驗,總平均分數是90.9分。

The experience was based on the junior high school math textbooks. We closely grouped the teaching materials and matched the time. We decided to use 66 mornings and 132 hours to complete mathematics accelerated teaching. The results were completed in 48 mornings and 96 hours in advance. For all five mathematics classes in mathematics, three tests, the total average score was 90.9.
