血红瓢心里美,又叫满膛红。原为北京多年种植的农家品种。后经北京蔬菜研究中心提纯复壮,选优更新,种性比原品种有显著提高。因色泽美,质脆嫩,味甘甜,深受消费者欢迎。叶簇较平展,叶色深绿,有裂片6—8时,叶柄及中肋浅绿色,属花叶类型。肉质根短圆筒形,平均纵径11厘米,横径10厘米。外皮光滑,出土部分为浅绿色,入土部分浅黄白色,根尾细长,呈粉红色,单个重0.65公斤。肉质细致,脆嫩多汁,肉色血红、鲜艳,甜味浓。含可溶性固形物7.2%,每100克肉质根内含多种维生素27.5毫克,
