硅铁中硅量的测定,有重量法及硅氟酸钾容量法,重量法准确度高,但操作繁琐,时间较长.硅氟酸钾容量法时间稍快,但精确度不高,以上方法,均需用贵重仪器及有害试剂,不太适宜于小型化验室作为快速测定之用.根据硅与铁的相对密度(硅的相对密度为2.40,铁的相对密度为7.80)之差,多年来,在分析领域中,曾有用相对密度之差测硅的方法,但都需要特制的仪器,由于这一限制,使这一方法难于推广.本法不需特殊仪器,不用任何药品,只需称几次天秤,在3min内即可得到结果,与化学分析的结果之差,均保持在1%以内,用这种方法,作进厂硅铁的初验,是切实可行的(特别是小型炼钢厂).1 试验方法先将比重瓶(25~50ml)装满蒸馏水后称重,令其质量为m_1,倒去水的1/3,备用.
