Peat is formed in swamp wetlands. The formation of swamp wetlands requires specific topographical, hydrological and biological conditions. Therefore, peat has its unique significance in the study of environmental changes. The formation of swamp wetlands in the coastal plains is closely related to the lake and river levels and their sea surface height (especially the tide level). Therefore, the peat interlayer in the sedimentary strata along the coastal plain, its generative properties, layer thickness and its horizon Height, etc., commonly used as an important basis for the analysis of changes in the sea surface.
