[Objective] To observe the anti-fatigue and anti-hypoxia effects of Oplopanax elatus Nakai on mice,so as to provide reference for the development and utilization of O.elatus.[Methods] Given different doses of O.elatus water suspension for 14 days,the burden swimming endurance,anti-hypoxia duration,the content of blood lactic acid of mice were determined.[Results] The mice in 5.2,2.6 and 1.3 g/kg O.elatus water suspension groups showed stronger anti-hypoxia effect and burden swimming endurance,while with lower blood lactic acid.[Conclusion] O.elatus could improve the anti-fatigue and anti-hypoxia ability of mice.
