About 80% of patients with cystic fibrosis pancreatic involvement, which is the main reason for poor pancreatic exocrine function in children. Various methods have been used to estimate the exocrine function of the pancreas. Direct tests, such as the secretin secretion test, are sensitive and specific, but it is a waste of time, damage to the body, invalidity for children, and costly.
