笔者在赴农村调查古文化遗址时,偶然收藏到一枚纹饰少见的大花钱。当时对钱上的纹饰不甚了解,后经反复查阅资料,方知晓其内容为历史上流传已久的“周处斩蛟”与“田氏哭莉”故事,富有深邃的民俗文化内涵。该花钱圆形方孔,直径56毫米,穿径6毫米,厚3毫米(见图)。正面为周处斩蛟图,表现一位身强力壮的武士手持利剑,正在与一条张牙舞爪、兴风作浪的恶蛟搏斗。背面为田氏哭莉图,
