Objective To explore the effect of central monitoring system in neonatal surgical ward. Methods A total of 158 children admitted to neonatal surgical ward in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2015 were randomly divided into two groups according to random number method. The control group received routine nursing. The observation group was installed in the neonatal surgical ward Monitoring system, the number of patients admitted and the time of occurrence of the situation, neonatal ECG, blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, oxygen saturation and other monitoring and found that the situation in a timely manner. Results After the central guardianship was carried out, the scores of family members in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05), and the average length of stay in the observation group was (6.31 ± 1.83) d, and the control group was (11.25 ± 2.43) days. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). After the nursing, the Constant score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the VAS score was lower than that of the control group Significance (P <0.05). Conclusion The neonatal surgical ward using the central monitoring system can detect the changes of the disease as early as possible to provide clinicians with more direct information on the infants’ information, and to deal with all kinds of sudden onset of infants as soon as possible and to record the parameters of the disease duration.
