关联理论对交际做出了许多独到和令人信服的阐述,该理论强大的解释力一直以来也同样指导着翻译的发展,而旅游景点对外宣介的英译作为翻译中的一种,同样是在关联理论的影响下进行的。因此,有必要对关联理论的主要观点进行的回顾,并总结其在景点介绍英译中的运用。本文即从关联理论的理论构建出发,基于其在翻译中强大的解释力,总结出旅游景点英译中尚待改进指之处,并为更进一步的相关研究提供参考。
Relevance theory has made many original and convincing expositions on communication. The strong explanatory power of this theory has always guided the development of translation as well. The English translation of tourist attractions in foreign countries is one of the translations. Under the influence of relevance theory. Therefore, it is necessary to review the main points of relevance theory and summarize its application in the introduction of the English version of the scenic spots. This article starts from the theoretical construction of relevance theory, and based on its strong explanatory power in translation, concludes that there is still room for improvement in the English translation of tourist attractions and provides reference for further relevant research.
