目的通过检测KiSS-1蛋白在甲状腺乳头状癌中的表达情况,探讨其在甲状腺乳头状癌中的表达及其意义。方法选取32例临床确诊的甲状腺乳头状癌患者癌组织及其癌旁组织病理蜡块标本,采用免疫组化检测KiSS-1蛋白的表达,并分析其与甲状腺乳头状癌临床病理特征的关系。结果 KiSS-1蛋白主要表达于细胞膜与细胞质中。32例患者癌旁组织中KiSS-1蛋白表达均为阳性(100%),在癌组织中表达减少或缺失,11例(34.4%)表达阳性,21例(65.6%)表达阴性,其差异有统计学意义(χ2=31.256,P<0.001)。KiSS-1蛋白在癌组织中表达的平均A值为119.5952,在癌旁组织中为174.8050,差异有统计学意义(t=34.429,P<0.001)。癌组织中KiSS-1蛋白的表达与患者性别(P=0.618)及年龄(P=0.061)均无关,而与肿瘤TNM分期有关(P=0.034)。KiSS-1蛋白在有淋巴结转移的癌组织中和无淋巴结转移的癌组织中的表达阳性率分别为100%(4/4)和25.0%(7/28),差异有统计学意义(P=0.003)。结论 KiSS-1蛋白在甲状腺乳头状癌中表达减少或缺失,可能参与肿瘤的发生、侵袭和转移。
Objective To investigate the expression of KiSS-1 in papillary thyroid carcinoma and its significance. Methods 32 cases of clinically diagnosed thyroid papillary carcinoma tissues and paracancerous tissues were collected. The expression of KiSS-1 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry and the relationship between the expression of KiSS-1 protein and the clinicopathological features of papillary thyroid carcinoma was analyzed. Results KiSS-1 protein was mainly expressed in cell membrane and cytoplasm. The expression of KiSS-1 protein was all positive (100%) in 32 cases of paracancerous tissues. The expression of KiSS-1 protein was decreased in the cancerous tissues (11 cases, 34.4%) and negative in 21 cases (65.6% Statistical significance (χ2 = 31.256, P <0.001). The average A value of KiSS-1 protein expression in cancer tissues was 119.5952, and it was 174.8050 in adjacent tissues. The difference was statistically significant (t = 34.429, P <0.001). The expression of KiSS-1 protein in cancer tissue was not related to the patient’s gender (P = 0.618) and age (P = 0.061), but was related to TNM stage (P = 0.034). The positive rates of KiSS-1 protein expression were 100% (4/4) and 25.0% (7/28) in lymph node metastasis and non-lymph node metastasis tissues, respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P = 0.003). Conclusions The expression of KiSS-1 protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma is reduced or absent, which may be involved in tumorigenesis, invasion and metastasis.
