This article presents different views on this view: Kamakura, Japan. During the period of the development of Buddhism in Japan, the Ink Tower was formed independently from the background of Buddhist development in Japan. It did not originate from the stone-built Baoyin Indo-Pagoda built in Quanzhou, Fujian Province during the Song dynasty.
