Lange and Jabiruka are the largest uranium deposits in the Aligateh uranium field accounting for at least 20% of the world’s low-cost uranium reserves. The orebodies were produced under the unconformity between the Early Proterozoic metasedimentary sediments and the 1.65 Ga Combeilgi sandstone. This study was conducted using U-Pb isotopic data obtained from 60 core samples of various cores that contain various mineral assemblages and structures. The sample data from Ranger show the exact age of 1.74 ± 0.2Ga, which is consistent with the earlier assertion that the deposit is an ancient deposit. The 1.74Ga is clearly ex-Qompo-Bourgeois so that the Lanthan deposit will not be formed by later geological processes. However,
