On January 17, 1991, the Gulf War, code-named Desert Storm, broke out. The warring parties were the multinational force led by the United States and the Iraqi side. During the war, the multinational force used many new types of weapons, including high-tech weapons. The Gulf battlefield is a real test field of advanced weapons and fully demonstrates the power of high-tech weapons. Therefore, the Gulf War will have an impact on the future development of the U.S. military industry. The following attempts to introduce the United States military industry in the future what are the trends. 1 Budget During the Gulf crisis, the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) proposed a defense budget for the fiscal year 1992-1993 (Table 1). There is no major fluctuation in the total budget. The reason is that the Bush administration reached an agreement with the parliament in October 1990 to reduce the fiscal deficit
