In 1978, the Shanghai Art Film Studio filmed an ink painting art titled “Little Tadpole Looking for Mother.” So far this cartoon with a thick traditional Chinese ink style is still constantly being mentioned. The original author of this classic animation is Chen Qiu Cao, who plotted 12 illustrations for the children’s book, before having a “little tadpole looking for a mom.” Chen Qiu Cao uses his childlike innocence to speculate on the world of children. Daring, naive, and funny ideas, conciseness and crudeness, vigorous color processing, the lotus, aquatic plants, frogs, tadpoles and fish in one of the ponds Shrimp, crabs have given a new meaning, but also to make these animals distinctive, lifelike.
