长江中、下游有一类与中酸性侵入岩有成因关系的侵入型块状硫化物矿床.此类矿床为新的矿床成因类型,其主要有用元素为铜,但伴生金的含量也较高,有时可构成独立金矿床.这类矿床分布很广,著名的有江西的武山、城门山及丁家山、安徽的新桥及冬瓜山等.该类矿床主要赋存于中、晚石炭世黄龙组、船山组灰岩内,呈似层状产出,但也不完全受此两层位的控制.例如安徽铜陵地区,从早石炭世高骊山组至中三叠世南陵湖组之间的地层中都有矿化,其中二叠纪大隆组、三叠纪殷坑组内还有具工业意义的矿体.即使在中、晚石炭世黄龙组、船山组灰岩内的矿床,也并不严格受层位控制,而是受层间构造断裂控制.同时还应指出,即使在一定层位内的矿体,它与围岩也不是成层整合关系,而是呈交代关系.区域地层的分析资料表明,主要成矿元素铜、金含量低于克拉克值或与克拉克值近似,由此看出,区域地层提供成矿物质的可能性较小.矿床的矿物组合简单,主要为黄铁矿、磁黄铁矿、黄铜矿和石英,与上述矿物共生的没有硫酸盐矿物,因此,金属硫化物的δ~(34)S均值相当于它们的总硫值.1 主要矿床的稳定同位素组成
