PcG蛋白(polycomb group proteins)是多细胞有机体中一类重要的表观遗传抑制因子,其功能是维持细胞分化和个体生长发育过程中基因的正确表达.转录抑制因子RYBP(Ring1 and YY1 binding protein)是PcG蛋白家族成员,可以与Ring1A、YY1和M33等其他PcG蛋白家族成员相互作用,通过形成蛋白质复合体的形式行使功能.本文简述RYBP基因在小鼠(Mus musculus)和果蝇(Drosophila melanogaster)等模式生物中的表达特征,综述RYBP在基因转录调控、干细胞分化、细胞凋亡和恶性肿瘤发生中的作用及其转录抑制机制,以期较为详细了解RYBP的研究进展,为鳞翅目昆虫家蚕(Bombyx mori)RYBP的研究提供借鉴.“,”Polycomb group (PcG) proteins are important epigenetic repressors in multicellular organisms,acting as a key regulator in establishing and maintaining gene expression patterns during cellular differentiation and organism development.Transcription repressor RYBP (Ring1 and YY1 binding protein) is a member of PcG protein family.It interacts with other PcG proteins such as Ring1A,YY1 and M33 to form functional protein complexes.In this paper,we briefly introduced expression patterns of RYBP gene in mouse (Mus musculus),fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) and other model organisms,summarized functions and transcription repression mechanisms of RYBP in gene transcriptional regulation,stem cell differentiation,cell apoptosis and malignant cancer occurrence.Such attempt allows a comprehensive understanding in research progress of RYBP proteins in transcriptional regulation and provides good references for exploring RYBP functions in the domesticated silkworm (Bombyx mori),a Lepidopteran insect species.
