近年来的研究表明星形胶质细胞在帕金森病(PD)的发病学中起着重要作用,一方面星形胶质细胞可能通过分泌神经元所需的神经营养因子和细胞因子以及合成单胺类代谢酶等发挥神经保护作用;另一方面在刺激因子作用下活化的星形胶质细胞可能通过释放炎症因子、氧自由基、影响谷氨酸和自由铁的代谢等促进PD的发生发展。
