Steven Spielberg 1993年的影片《侏罗纪公园》曾被无数视效艺术家称为“引领我走入视效行业的影片”。这部影片包含了特效总监Michael Lantieri充满创意的特效、Stan Winston的机械恐龙模型、Dennis Muren和Phil Tippett领导的ILM艺术家制作的CG动画,直到现在仍然被世人认为是特效史上的里程碑。本月,3D重制版的《侏罗纪公园》上映,FXGuide采访了当年ILM的视效艺术指导TyRuben Ellinson,以及转制公司Stereo D的总裁William Sherak,讲述影片的特效制作及立体转制。
Steven Spielberg’s 1993 movie “Jurassic Park” has been described by countless visual artists as “the film that led me into the visual industry.” The film includes creative special effects from effects director Michael Lantieri, Stan Winston’s mechanical dinosaur model, CG animation by Dennis Muren and ILM artists led by Phil Tippett, and until today is still regarded as a milestone in the history of special effects. This month, a 3D version of the Jurassic Park was released. FXGuide interviewed TyRuben Ellinson, director of visual art at ILM, and William Sherak, president of the restructuring company Stereo D, about the film’s effects production and its three-dimensional transformation.
