The cylinder model of the rotor engine is a two-lobe outer trochoidal line. Normally, the cylinder surface is modified to compensate for thermal deformation or pressure deformation; therefore, machine tool or template shape correction equipment is the main feature of the machine tool. The six machine tools described in the attached table on the next page use different methods to machine the cylinder profile. At present, the six machine tools can process the long axis of the cylinder profile up to 12 o’clock (30.48 cm). The difficulty in machining and grinding the shape of the trochoidal line is that the tolerance of the profile is extremely narrow - 0.0002 吋 (0.0051 mm), and the finish 1
