我局金刚石钻进自一九七五年九月开始试验，到七九年最高开到二十五台。由一个队发展到十个队。近五年来完成小口径金刚石钻探工作量十二万二千多米，平均台月效率321米，施工钻孔323个（不完全统计）。已验收钻孔283个，其中，优质孔245个，占86.6％；合格孔38个，占13.4％。绳索取心钻进，七八年末开动第一台试验钻机，到七九年底扩大到八台钻机。例如五队506机和十五队1510机取得较为显著效果，1510机完成工作量2695米，平均台效达596米；506机完成工作量2205米，平均台效达363米。两台绳索取心钻机分别较七九年全局打固体矿的大口径平均台效188米提高317％和193％。现将我们在推广绳索取心钻进方面的体会简介如下。
