In early May, friends and gentlemen called Kim couple and invited us to drive to Germany to play together for a few days. We set off from the Netherlands, passing through Cologne, Cobden, Heidelberg, to the Titisee in the heart of the Black Forest. This trip is very happy, not a small gain. Three hours after the start of peace, we arrived at the first leg of the trip: Cologne. Cologne by the Rhine is one of the earliest Roman garrisons in history, and by the Middle Ages it became known for its academic life. Drive down the motorway and follow the towering towers of Cologne Cathedral in front of the cathedral in the city center. The cathedral, whether it is the appearance of size or partial carving, are among the best. It is said that it took about 600 years to build it. In World War II, 90% of Cologne’s interior was destroyed and the cathedral was spared. Now that we have seen the church, which was restored after the war, it has become an international masterpiece of post-war reconstruction of monuments. As time went by, acid rain, industrial pollution of the erosion, this magnificent ornate church, has been peeling off the original carved, appearance also appears black.
