Honorific language, one of the most important parts of a civilized social language system, is reflected in both Chinese and Korean. Chinese and Korean do not belong to the same type of language, so Chinese and Korean honorifics have their common place and different place. Chinese honorifics are expressed in a great deal of respectfulness because their honorifics are mainly in terms of words, while in Korean, they are not the same. Their expressions have both vocabulary and suffixes. In general, honorifics in Korean are more comprehensive and developed than those in Chinese, mainly because many of these expressions gradually form a relatively perfect system of honorifics in their development. From another point of view, honorifics to a large extent show the culture of a nation, can promote the current spiritual civilization. The honorifics in Chinese and Korean both inherit the essence of the traditional cultures of the two countries and reflect the phenomena in our society.
