黔东南地区由于其特殊的自然地理环境和各少数民族特别是苗族、侗族大杂居、小聚居的特点,形成了苗、侗民族独特的饮食文化,主要表现在独具民族特色的风味食物和极具内涵的酒文化方面。在西部大开发以及传承、弘扬、保护民族文化进程中,这些独具特色的少数民族饮食文化正在展现其特殊的魅力。
