《论语》整个话语背景就是教育语境。当理解出现多种可能的时候,我们就要回归到教育语境寻求解答。《论语》所记,多是受教育者向孔子提出的某种学习修养的疑问或是为政者向孔子提出针对政权活动或家庭管理中的疑问,孔子根据提问者的状态、经历和提问背景予以相应回应和解答,体现了十分强烈的因材施教的个性化的辅导。只有把各种同类问题的回应加以汇聚才有可能寻绎出孔子对某类问题的一贯主张,而不能寻章摘句拘泥于某一回答就认定孔子就是某一观点。用这种方式不但可以有效地解读《论语》,也可以更好地进行》《论语》的教学。
