Bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) injury can cause airway obstruction, selective removal of laryngeal tissue or vocal cord to resume respiratory function in several operations are less than ideal. It has been reported that electrical stimulation of laryngeal muscles with laryngeal nerve paralysis can improve laryngeal function. However, many parameters of electric pacing are not yet clear. The authors introduce a group of experiments and determine a set of parameters. The hybrid adult dogs were divided into two groups: group Ⅰ RLN emergency cutting (control group), group Ⅱ RLN cutting plus intravenous injection of bovine (0.1 mg / kg), aimed at eliminating the direct nerve stimulation. The posterior circumdius posterior muscle (PCA) was isolated and the two special needle electrodes were inserted into the PCA at a distance of 2mm parallel to each other, perpendicular to the muscle fibers. The elliptical electric field and the muscle fibers
