To investigate the relationship between CD44 and gastrointestinal tumors, flow cytometric analysis was used to analyze the levels of CD44 in 52 cases of gastrointestinal cancer and 29 cases of gastrointestinal benign tumors. And compared with normal people. The levels of CD44 in peripheral blood and tumor cells of malignant tumors were significantly higher than those in normal controls (P<0.001) and benign tumors (P<0.001). The levels of CD44 in peripheral blood of the latter two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05). The content of CD44 in peripheral blood and tumor tissues of those with metastasis was significantly higher than those without metastasis (P<0.01). The CD44 content in the peripheral blood of patients with no metastasis rapidly decreased to normal, but the CD44 content of the patients with existing metastasis no matter what kind of surgery has little change, indicating that CD44 can be used as a metastasis index of gastrointestinal cancer, and early diagnosis and treatment The choice of the protocol, the observation of the efficacy, and the evaluation of the prognosis have important clinical implications.
