采鑛强度的高低是表现一个鑛山的采鑛作业是否集中、是否贯彻了采掘顺序和采鑛原则,从而证实一个鑛山技术管理工作做得好坏的标志。采鑛强度的表示方法主要有以下三种指标:一、回采工作一年的下降距离(公尺/年);二、开采系数,每平方公尺鑛体水平面积的一年采鑛量(吨/平方公尺/年);三、每昼夜每平方公尺鑛体面积的采鑛量(吨/平方公尺/日)。此外,还有以采鑛周期(即一个采区自开始采鑛至采鑛结束止所需要的时间)等方法来表示的。1955年通过采掘技术计划的贯彻执行,各鑛的采鑛强度如下表所示:
