金秋十月,笔者有幸随“广东省赴泰、马经济发展考察组”一行到泰国和马来西亚等地访问。此行印象最深者,首推与广东隔海相望的马来西亚。从泰国首都曼谷登机,约经2个半时的飞行,即可抵达马来西亚首都吉隆坡。在飞机上凭窗俯瞰,但见这个60%绿化面积的热带半岛,犹如碧玉,满目葱翠。甫出机场,即可感受到,这是一个民风淳朴、热情好客、礼宾周到的国度。富饶的土地,友好的睦邻马来西亚位于东南亚中心地带,紧临赤道北沿,与泰国、新加坡、印尼、菲律宾相邻或相接。全国面积330434平方公里,被南中国海分为两半:东马来西亚和西马来西亚。马来西亚人口总数约1800万人。其中马来族约占50%,华人占30%,印度和巴基斯坦人占10%,其余
