通过对基工厂使用菱镁矿在受热分解过程中的粉化程度测定,并对用均匀粒度氧化镁(由该菱镁矿经煅烧制得)作为氯化炉料.和用在氯化炉内分解该菱镁矿产生的粒度分散的氧化镁作为氯化炉料,分别作加炭氯化实验的结果进行对照,指出氯化炉内氧化镁粒度均匀的重要性,并提出在加炭氯化生产熔体氧化镁的工艺中应选用在热分解过程中不易粉化、热强度好的菱镁矿作为其原料.
