云南省微生物研究所是1979年经国家科委正式批准成立,属于云南省科学技术委员会和云南大学双重领导,由云南大学实行党、政、业务全面管理,以从事开发利用云南省丰富的微生物资源为主的独立型科研所。 该所自1979年由全国著名的生态学家曲仲湘教授和原校党委委员许建初同志负责组建开始,至今已10年有余。10余年来,曲仲湘教授和盛玲玲教授曾先后担任该所所长,1986～1989年间由副所长张清惠主持工作,现任所长是魏蓉城副教授。全所现有职工60人,其中副研究员和副教授9
Yunnan Institute of Microbiology was officially approved by the State Science and Technology Commission in 1979. It belongs to the dual leadership of the Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Commission and Yunnan University. Yunnan University implements the comprehensive management of the Party, government and business to develop and utilize the abundant microbial resources in Yunnan Province Based independent research institutes. Since 1979, the school has been started by Professor Qu Zhongxiang, a famous ecologist in the whole country, and Comrade Xu Jianchu, former member of the Party Committee of the CPC, who has been responsible for the establishment for more than 10 years. For more than 10 years, Professor Qu Zhongxiang and Professor Shengling Ling have successively served as director of the institute. From 1986 to 1989, Zhang Qinghui, the deputy director, presided over the work. The current director is Wei Rongcheng associate professor.
