2013年2月22日,香港高等法院作出终审判决:香港水道“3·22”碰撞事故海事案件适用狭水道航行,“耀海”轮船长及香港正副引水无罪释放。至此,一起长达5年、国际广泛关注的跨国海事案件审理宣告终结。“3·22”事故的判决已经被香港高等法院列为判例,成为今后对该航道水上交通事故判决的依据——这是中国海事调查官首次境外安全调查以近乎完美的方式收官。
On February 22, 2013, the Hong Kong High Court of Justice made the final judgment: the Hong Kong Waterway “3.22” collision case maritime traffic accident applicable to the narrow channel, “Yaohai” captain and Hong Kong is no acquittal release. At this point, together for up to five years, the multinational maritime cases of widespread international concern have come to an end. The verdict of the “March 22” accident has been cited as a precedent by the Hong Kong High Court of Justice as the basis for future judgments on the waterway accident in the waterway - an almost perfect ending of the first overseas safety investigation by China’s maritime investigators.
