地膜红苕,是指在起垄的基础上,加盖地膜栽培红苕的新方法。地膜红苕在日本等国七十年代已大面积推广应用。我国北方起步较早,四川近年开始进行试验示范,收到了良好的增产增收效果。1987年绵阳市中区示范种植地膜红苕200亩,11月12日省农牧厅和市、区(县)有关部门的领导、专家现场考察了绵阳农校,在市中区瓦子乡试验示范的15亩地膜红苕,亩产一般比同条件下露地栽培增产50％左右。其中一块高产栽培同田对比田,经现场收挖测产,亩产鲜苕4362.5公斤,比露地栽培亩产
