SPI凝胶体系是一种低成本、以多组分硅酸盐为基础的凝胶,在地面混合并且进行一级泵送,控制胶凝时间从几小时到几天,形成各种有弹性凝胶(从硬的强凝胶到软的弱凝胶)。这一新的“绿色”凝胶体系的化学剂浓度低,并且不含重金属,因此总成本低。开发SPI凝胶体系的目的是解决注水井和采油井的水波及问题并且用于套管泄漏修理和其他应用。该SPI预胶凝体系的黏度低,适用于深穿透泄漏和致密地层,并且可以对其进行设计以便用于特殊情况。在RTA Systems试验室进行了1000多次试验来评价SPI凝胶体系。目前,在堪萨斯大学的三次采油项目中正对其做进一步的流变性试验。为满足机械完整性测试(MIT)技术要求,还需继续实验室试验,以证实注水井处理使用的SPI硅胶至少有5年的使用期限。本文介绍了试验室研究工作和早期第三方确认工作。现在正在用这些凝胶进行水驱波及和套管修理的矿场试验。
The SPI Gel System is a low-cost, multi-component silicate-based gel that is mixed on the ground and first-grade pumped to control gelation times from hours to days to form a variety of flexible condensates Glue (from hard, strong gel to soft, weak gel). The new “green” gel system has a low chemical concentration and is free of heavy metals, so the total cost is low. The purpose of developing the SPI gel system is to solve the water wave and problems of injection and production wells and to be used for casing leak repair and other applications. The SPI pre-gelling system has low viscosity and is suitable for deep penetrating leaks and tight formations and can be designed for exceptional conditions. More than 1,000 tests were conducted at the RTA Systems lab to evaluate the SPI gel system. Currently, a further rheology test is being conducted at the KUO’s tertiary oil recovery project. To meet the Mechanical Integrity Testing (MIT) technical requirements, further laboratory testing is required to confirm that the SPI silica used in water injection wells has a minimum of 5 years of useful life. This article describes lab research and early third-party validation. These gels are now being used in field trials of water-swept and casing repair.
