防治农业、经济及医学领域害虫的方法主要是使用杀虫剂,许多种类昆虫的种群通过产生抗性成功地适应了众多的杀虫剂。不仅如此,对已有杀虫剂的选择作用因交互抗性而使昆虫对新杀虫剂也能产生抗性。杀虫剂抗性管理的策略以前通常是采用回顾性的,如果对新杀虫剂的抗性发展能够在其使用前预知的话,那么也有可能建立一种有效的事先抗性管理的方法。
The main means of controlling pests in the fields of agriculture, economy and medicine is the use of pesticides, and the population of many species of insects has successfully adapted to a large number of pesticides through the development of resistance. Moreover, insecticides are also resistant to new pesticides due to their interactive resistance to the selection of existing insecticides. Previous strategies for pesticide resistance management have traditionally been retrospective, and if resistance development to new pesticides can be predicted before their use, it is also possible to establish an effective advance resistance management approach.
