当前英语课堂教学,基本上一个特点是“三个一”,即一个课堂、一个教材、一个要求。也就是说不论教学班的规模大小,都得在同一个课堂里学习同样的教材,按着同样的进度去达到统一规定的要求。然而,我们职大学员的英语基础参差不齐,由于基础不同,所以无论教师采取什么办法,一个教学班总不会是齐头并进,总是有的学员吃不饱,有的学员吃不了。教学包括两方面的问题,一个是教师如何教的问题,一个是学员如何学的问题。“教”就是采用难易得体的教材和学员易于接受的方式方法来完成教学任务。教学方法是否得当,必须通过教学实践来验证它是
