野生大豆(Glycine soja)是豆科、大豆属的种.有关文献又称为乌豆、蔓豆、野黑豆、鹿霍或(豆劳)豆、山黄豆.宁夏群众惯称为野青豆,野小豆和野黄豆.它抗逆性强,适应性广,群落分布,生长迅速,种子传播快,遍布于我国北方、华中各省、区.野生大豆茎叶繁茂,根系发达,根瘤众多,结荚累累,植株和种子养分含量高,是培育优质高产大豆新品种的优良育种材料和最佳的饲料,绿肥之一,也是坡地水土保持的较好草种.
