RUNT transcription factor family is a series of relatively conservative evolutionary metazoan protein. The RUNT family of transcription factors have a highly similar Rnt domain (RD) at the amino terminus (N-), which is composed of 128 amino acids and plays an important role in DNA binding and heterodimerization [1]. The protein complex composed of RUNX and its cofactor PEBP2β / CBFβ was first discovered 20 years ago.
