近年来,随着知识更新日益加快,人的终生教育问题正得到越来越多的关注。越来越多的英语教学工作者也意识到了培养学生自主能力的重要性,教育教学的中心渐渐转到学生身上来,对于学习策略的培训和学生自主能力的培养也在各级教学大纲和课程要求中得到了不同程度的体现。学习者自主这一概念由Henri Holec于1981年正式提出。自从该概念诞生以来,国内外学者围绕其展开了大量研究。早有研究表明,学习者自主学习能力的强弱跟其学习的成果是密切相关的。课堂教学活动的时间是极其有限的,要想在这有限的时间内完成对一门知识,尤其是英语的掌握,这是远远不够的,因此这就需要学习者在课外自己的努力。那么大学生英语自主学习能力的培养就尤为重要。
In recent years, with the accelerating knowledge renewal, people’s lifelong education is receiving more and more attention. More and more English teaching workers are also aware of the importance of cultivating students ’autonomous ability. The center of education and teaching is gradually transferred to students. The concept of learner autonomy was formally proposed by Henri Holec in 1981. Since the birth of this concept, a great deal of research has been carried out by scholars at home and abroad. Earlier studies have shown that the strength of learners’ autonomous learning ability is closely related to the results of their studies. The time for classroom teaching activities is extremely limited, and it is not enough to complete the mastery of a knowledge, especially English, in this limited time. Therefore, it requires learners to work out of class. Then the cultivation of English learning ability of college students is particularly important.
