We participated in the Shanghai Port Machinery Plant 16 tons of seaport -72 type of crane during the design process, frame calculation method made a little discussion. There is not much information on this aspect, and the existing methods for calculating the deformation are not reasonable enough and the results are not satisfactory. The crane frame is different from a typical automobile frame in that it has a large overturning moment M_k in addition to the force in the vertical direction acting on it.
