排放法规的严格,使排气系统技术得到了全面的发展和提高。在过去,排气系统只是用来将废气传送到车辆的后部和消除发动机的噪音。其实,排气系统在优化发动机性能上具有决定性的作用。它的主要作用是最大限度地降低污染和噪声。在汽油发动机上实现此目标的最有效方法是配合使用三元催化净化器,下面仅对此进行探讨。 催化净化器有三种:一种是净化CO和HC;另一种是净化NO_X;还有一种是三元催化净化器,它可以将有害气体转变为无毒气体。这些催化净化器采用催化剂作为媒介质。常用的催化剂是铂和钯金属。
Strict emission regulations, the exhaust system technology has been fully developed and improved. In the past, the exhaust system was only used to deliver the exhaust to the rear of the vehicle and to eliminate engine noise. In fact, exhaust systems play a decisive role in optimizing engine performance. Its main role is to minimize pollution and noise. The most effective way to achieve this goal on a gasoline engine is to use a three-way catalytic converter, as discussed below. Catalytic purifiers have three kinds: one is to purify CO and HC; the other is to purify NO_X; there is a three-way catalytic purifier, which can be harmful gases into non-toxic gases. These catalytic converters use a catalyst as a vehicle. Commonly used catalysts are platinum and palladium metals.
