中国画的水墨传统已有千年历史,而中国的彩陶文化更可上溯到新石器时代,考古推算已有五千年的悠久文明。由此在书画界产生了描绘珍瓷雅玩的博古图,在吴昌硕、齐白石等许多大家的作品中均可见到这样的图画,作为文人清赏和家居摆设的清供图也应运而生。画家李卫东作为延续这一传统的当代画家,在前辈大家创新的基础上又融入了现代生活的气息。李卫东生于西北兰州,这里是马家窑文化的发源地和此类彩陶纹样的传播源之一。从小受地域文化,尤其是新石器彩陶艺术的滋养,李卫东的作品中渐渐增加了自己所熟悉的绘画图符和地域化的元素,逐渐构成画家笔下独有的精神图像。
Chinese ink painting tradition has been a thousand years of history, and China’s pottery culture can even be traced back to the Neolithic Age, archaeological projections have 5,000 years of civilization. As a result, there was an archetypal picture depicting the porcelain and porcelain played in the calligraphy and painting circles. Such drawings can be found in the works of many of us, such as Wu Changshuo and Qi Baishi, as well as Qing dynasty pictures of literati Qing dynasty and home furnishing. Painter Li Weidong as a continuation of this tradition of contemporary artists, in the predecessors on the basis of innovation and integration into the atmosphere of modern life. Li Weidong was born in Lanzhou, northwest, where is the birthplace of Majiayao culture and one of the sources of such colored pottery patterns. From childhood to nourishment of regional culture, especially neolithic pottery art, Li Weidong’s works have gradually increased his familiar painting icons and geographical elements, and gradually formed a unique spiritual image of his paintings.
