British writer Eliot created “The Waste Land”, a long poem that shows the state of postwar public life, based on his experience in the war years and his victory over victories. However, there is no lack of Eliot’s view of the modern natural environment and ecological changes in her long poems. In poetry, the author laments and deplores people’s loss of their inner beliefs and spiritual thoughts. At the same time, it also reflects the harsh problems such as the destruction of the ecology and the desolation of the soil. Based on the study of a poem in the Waste Land, the author analyzes the author’s concern for the ecological environment in the creation of poetry and at the same time explores Eliot’s path of salvation to ecological and spiritual pollution from the perspective of poetry.
