Today, “Drawing Towards Synthesis” is no longer a guessing of the future, but rather has become a fact on a comparative level, and it becomes increasingly difficult for us to define the effects of pictures and media techniques in the name of a traditional custom. From the perspective of art education, teaching and writing of integrated painting and media and performance of materials are gaining more and more attention. Under such circumstances, it is an urgent task to study the law of creative performance and explore the innovation of contemporary watercolor teaching for the comprehensive water-based painting. Although watercolors have been developed for hundreds of years and water-based paintings have also been developed in East and West, systematic water-based comprehensive painting teaching system has not yet been formed. Therefore, this issue is groundbreaking and global in nature.
